Hello! Heartiest Welcome to the Sacred Heart School, Rowta Website.
Rev. Fr. Jacob Mattathilany was the founder of Sacred Heart School, Rowta. His vision for a holistic and integral growth of the local people in and around Rowta motivated and inspired him to open this school. His dream was materialized in the year 1990 when the school was officially opened with the approval and support of Rt. Rev. Robert Kerketta SDB DD, the then Bishop of Tezpur. Since then, the school has grown steadily in every way. Many Principals, Headmistresses, teachers, guardians and past students have been contributing enormously towards the all-round development of the school.
A team of experienced, competent and interested teachers along with administrative and non-teaching staff guide the young mind every day for academic excellence combined with variety of extra-curricular activities and most importantly to be responsible citizens of tomorrow. Sacred Heart School Rowta is a ‘home away from home’, where the students feel the warmth of love, care, concern and respect of a home. This home teaches them to be respectful and appreciative towards teachers and students, parents and guardians cutting across caste, creed, religion, culture and tradition.
May the motto of Sacred Heart School Rowta – “Grow in Harmony”, be the guiding light in every endeavour of our school, and may it be realized in the lives of every student, teacher, guardian and parent.
